Derfor beh\u00f8vde den nytt gripebrett. I samme slengen forbedret jeg gitaren med justerbar truss rod og grafittforsterkning i halsen. Opprinnelig l\u00e5 det kun en T-bjelke i aluminium i halsen som forsterkning. Greit nok, men ikke justebart. Det gamle gripebrettet hadde blitt fjernet, men var \u00f8delagt og helt ubrukelig. De gamle b\u00e5ndmarkeringene var ogs\u00e5 \u00f8delagte, s\u00e5 derfor var det enklest \u00e5 lage alt nytt. Det ble en ganske omfattende jobb, siden halsen m\u00e5tte tas av, ny halsforlengelse m\u00e5tte limes p\u00e5 og alt tilpasses p\u00e5 nytt. B\u00e5ndinlay og kantlister p\u00e5 gripebrettet m\u00e5tte ogs\u00e5 gj\u00f8res.
